Editing Processes

Once you have decided that you would like to obtain an obligation free quotation from Editing Solutions, please complete our Quotation Form. Please Note: You will need to register on this site before accessing the quotation form.

When we have the required information from you to make an informed decision about our fee, we will communicate with you via email.

If you accept our quotation, we will send you an invoice for payment.
 
If you want to discuss our quotation further, or to amend your request, please email, phone or Skype us. As below, our quotation will include an estimate of when we expect to deliver your corrected document/s.
 
If you decide not to use our service after we have provided a price quotation, a courtesy email advising us would be appreciated.

Once we have confirmation that your payment has been deposited into our account, we will set to work on your project according to your instructions. N.B. Payments via the PayPal payment processor are confirmed almost immediately.

If your project is 2000 words or more, you may request a 300-500 word editing sample as part of our quotation. Please check the, "Sample Edit Required" box on the quotation form if you require this service.

Our editors use Microsoft Word (2003, 2007 or 2010) software to complete projects. We return your project to you as two files: One includes the "marked up" text to allow you to accept or reject any of our editing changes; the second removes the "mark up code" to provide you with a cleanly edited document.

We aim to provide a service that balances timeliness and accuracy. In short, the bigger and more complex your project the longer it will take to complete. If your instructions are not clear we may need to communicate with you. This will increase the time it takes to complete the process.

File Sizes

If your project requires you to send more than one file to us, EITHER email additional files as attachments (please include your Project Reference Code) OR combine your files into one ".zip" file.

Please keep all file sizes to under 2MB. If sending files to us by email, please ensure that the total combined size of attachments with one email does not exceed 2MB. If necessary please split your large file into smaller files.

File Types

We use Microsoft Office programmes. We have no problem opening files with the following common filename extensions: .txt .rtf .doc .docx .pub
.htm .html .ppt .pps .zip .pdf etc.

We can also open most image files as necessary.

Computer Viruses

While we maintain up-to-date virus protection software on our computers, we do request that you send us "clean" files. We cannot work on files you send to us that contain viruses. If you provide such files after payment, we will deduct the cost of our time and expenses incurred from any refund we make to you.
